Alamkouh is a mountain in Alborz mountain range in the north of Iran, Mazandaran Province, is located in Kelardasht District of Mazandaran Province of Iran. With an elevation of 4,850 meters, it is the second highest peak in Iran after Mount Damavand. This mountainous region with more than 160 peaks which are higher than 4000, and deep glacier and high wall have known as Iranian Alp.
our tour guides and Colleague will pick you up from the hotel and then will go through Karaj and Chaloos road, one of the most attractive roads of Iran. After passing Kelardasht, will set camp near Vandarbon river.
we can continue the route by car, it is highly recommended to start climbing from the tent. otherwise, our climbing is almost car-based. we will be in HesarChal base camp till evening.
Today we are going to climb to Lashgarak peak with the height of 4250 m and Gardonehkouh peak with the height of 4400 m for more acclimation, then return to our base camp till noon.
After having breakfast in the morning, we will move to Alamkooh peak. it doesn't need to use technical ascending. we will reach to peak at noon. Now you are in Alamkooh with all high wall and view of Caspian sea . after taking some photo we will return to our base camp. so it is the time to walk around a natural lake and enjoy that view.
After taking our burden to the muleteer, will head to Tangeh Galou. After 2 hours later will arrive at the road then drive to Vandarbon, Kalardasht then your accommodation in Tehran.
