Alamkuh with the elevation of 4850 m is known as the second highest and most beautiful rocky mountain with deep glaciers. Unfortunately, Kalardasht, the normal route of ascending, has undergone change. Because of financial gain, driving is allowed until a very high elevation. But climbing through Alamut path, it would be a superb experience within the heart of nature and culture of villagers. we will visit "Hasan Sabah "historical castle, as well as, accommodating in the historical village that villagers live traditionally. There is no footprint of technology, without any specific road for car or electricity power and the area is turned into an intact region with simple-heart people.
We will drive from Tehran at 6 am. We will have breakfast on the road. After reaching Ghazvin, head to the mountainous Alamut road until Gazerkhan Castle. After getting familiar with Hasan-e-Sabbah and the Assassins, then head to Dinehrud village. We need 1 hour of hiking to reach the village.
After having organic breakfast made by a village chef, head to Evater. The most beautiful village surrounded by high mountains. We will reach the village at noon. A very intact village without any basic facilities like electric power.
Today we will leave Alamut area and head to Taleghan Mountain. We will set camp in the evening near a spring.
Today we will climb Laskgarak with the height of 4250m. After packing camp, head to Hezar-Cham pass then head to Lashgarak peak, the place with the view of Alamkuh and then depart to Hesar Chal. we will set up camp near a stream.
Start the day early and head to Alamkuh peak. It takes about 5 hours to reach the peak, second highest peak in Iran. Great wall and the sharp peak of Alamkuh has a very eye-catching view. After taking photos, head to camp and take rest till morning.
We have enough time for resting in the morning. After having breakfast and packing equipment, head to Tangeh Galoo. We will drive to base camp in Vandorbon by 4*4 . Then head to Kelardasht, where we will have traditional food in restaurant. Our Collegues will drop you off at your hotel in Tehran.
